Internet Working !..IE 8 and Safari does not ???

    Internet Working !..IE 8 and Safari does not ???

    I have DL a trogen and it seems to affected my browsers. My email works as well as quicken and Limewire as well as other update programs, but both of my browsers say they cannot display any webpages. Also, my security service center cannot be started. any help would be great!

    Run an antivirus scan and download and run malwarebytes.

    I have already ran malware bytes as well as an antivirus, but found nothing...I removed my antivirus as well as my firewall as a test and it proved to be no good. BTW, i also had system mechanic running which could have altered some things, but not sure.

    IE8 and Safari should be set to be online so that they can dsisplay web pages.

    My Ie 8 and Safari both were working perfectly, upon reboot they stopped. BTW, I installed Firefox (transfered via the network from another computer)and that too does not work. So, it must be in the reg. Any other help would be great.
