Autocomplete in Windows mail

When i create a new email, and start to type in the person or email address that it's going to, the autocomplete usually fills in the rest of the email address so you don't have to type it all in.

I have noticed with mine that if you do not send an email to a particular person for about a month or two, the autocomplete will not have that persons address in the group and will not fiull it in. It's like it forgets some of your friends email addresses if you don't send frequent emails to them.

Is there any way to change it so that it always remembers them?

Windows Mail doesn't use the contacts list to auto complete addresses.

It uses a separate list of the last 30 addresses you sent messages to.

Without a registry tweak, you have what you are suppose to.

I suggest that you do not fool with registry for this type of problem. There is the possiblity of much bigger problems.

You are very welcome, do not forget to to tell your friends about the Vista Forums.

Edit: I remember now, you had the question about changing the order of the received mail. I hope it worked. I do not think I heard anything about the results.

Thank you for the kind words and rep. It is the rep that gets us these nice badges. The pic came from my collection.
