Is there a way to add "Open in a new window" to favorites URLs right click context menu in IE 8? Running Vista Home Premium 32 bit.

I'm not sure, but as a workaround you can set your Tabbed Browsing settings for Internet Explorer to be like this below to have the favorites URL links automatically open in a new IE window if you like.

The work around didn't work for me. I guess there is no way to add Open in New Window in the Favorites context menu. I tried a registry hack from this URL (Open Favorites in a new window at Registry Guide for Windows) but it didn't work either. Thanks for trying.

See if this may be what you are wanting instead. You will need to log off and log on, or restart the computer after merging.
This will not affect selecting a favorite from inside Internet Explorer, but when you click on a favorite from say the Start Menu Favorites button or a internet shortcut.
