Problem with Internet Explorer 8

Hey everyone,

Im using Internet Explorer 8, have been using all versions of IE and have been completely satisfied. Anyway lately ive got a problem, whenever I click on the IE icon in my quickstart bar, the window flashes and closes...if i keep clicking on the icon 3-4 times then it opens...additionally if i open any other browser first such as mozilla firefox or chrome and then open it, IE opens just fine.....

IS THIS SOME BUG? is there a fix?

Easy way first
Tools>internet options>advanced>reset.
This removes all the addons, which is usually the cause of the problem.
If fixed, put addons back one at at time to determine the cause.

did that..problem persists!!!=(

OK congrats, you are one of the few that did not have success with that solution. But, no need to be concerned, this will help.

I really do have another solution, but I am getting concerned.
Run your anti virus and download and run malwarebytes
If they are negative, I will give you my best, but last, potential solution.
