My friends and I had a debate last night about which browser is 'better': Google Chrome or Firefox. Personally, the add-ons and features of Firefox are unrivaled, and therefore my preference is with the fiery browser. How about you guys? I'm willing to hear both sides!

Personally, my favourite is the Vista Forums web browser! It is obsure, discontinued, never released, never even finished, very dodgy, made by one of our core members, and stored in a private sub forum! It is great! I promise that I have used it twice!

Given the choice, I would pick Firefox over Chrome because it is faster, more compatible, easier to configure with more options, has more add-ons available, has fewer problems, has excellent support available, and I like how things look and are placed.

Then again, I only use these for backups or troubleshooting or answering related questions. i STRONGLY prefer Internet Explorer 9 beta (the upgraded version) and would not care at all to switch to either of the others (or any other browsers I've seen either). At the moment it is IE8. I used IE9, liked it, but I dislike installing anything thats beta (Just like my computers running with same versions of drivers, software etc, otherwise i get confused and annoyed!). Stuck with IE since IE7, ive never had a problem. Also im too lazy to update it, just let windows update do it.

Beta's aside, i think chrome is possibly best all round atm from what ive read. Although, once IE9 is out, it'll be the best if the beta is anything to go by - it's scared mozilla into pushing back their release date at least.

I have to agree with the IE supporters. I'm still using IE8 and really like the interface and the features, but mostly the customizability of it! I've tried both FireFox and Chrome, and although FireFox is touted to have the most add-ons, it didn't have many of the features (that I use every day) that IE has --- so for me, it's IE all the way!

As per loads of others I prefer IE8 too. I will wait for IE9 to become "Stable" before taking the leep of faith with that one.

Tried Chrome but could'nt get used to it, perhaps I did'nt give it enough time though.

When not trying out odd browsers, I use Firefox. I have several odd add-ons which are only available on Firefox, and I really like it - it is my browser!

I use ie9 x64 version. Everythings nice and stable.

Still some minor bugs but ts nice.

My personal favorite is IE8. No claims of being the fastest etc, but very dependable.
FYI, IE 9 beta tests show that it may be the fastest.

I think the only bad thing about it is that you cant install on XP.

But with how successful windows 7 is now, you shouldn't be running it :D
