    Text in Main Body invisible

    HELP!!!,

I have an hideous problem with Windows Mail which has reared its ugly head 2 days ago. I receive messages but some..not all have no text in the main body of the email. If I view and select all I can then copy this into a Word Doc.It also happens if I click onto a message to reply, the main text is missing and it does not allow me to type anything in!
This occurs on my Dell Inspiron Laptop but not on my Dell One PC.I have checked the settings against each other and both appear to be the same.I run AVG free and have turned off the scanner but to no avail.I have run CCleaner and scanned the system and it still behaves badly.
This would not be too much of a problem but I bought a house yesterday and the Solictors are internet based so at present I am close to tears
CAN ANYONE ASSIST ME AT ALL PLEASE, sorry did not meant to shout

    Welcome and please no tears.

    Several solutions
First, I am sure that your email provider has a website that you can use to access your mail. If not get another free emil provider. The little known German, GMX.com is great.
    If this is not applicable.
Try to download and use the most current mail service Windows Live Mail 2011 or many of the other services that are available, Thunderbird is nice.

Thanks for the reply, the problem I have is this has happened to a large number of emails on the laptop.I can now use my PC to email but the problem still remains one laptop.
I have access to other email programmes but would like to rectify the problem rather than lose all the mails I have. Not to mention having to contact people for them to alter their contacts list

Carried out the clean boot, did not have to go further than stage 1, when I looked at the mail everything was there, except where I had changed it myself.
I do not know what the problem was but it appears to have gone forth. What can I say .hats off to Richc46
    Thanks

Only half the problem is solved. Clean boot removed all the possbile problems. Now follow instructions to see which is the acutal culprit and then we can fix it.
