Just done a leap of faith & switched to IE9. Looks good far, I must say!

I got it last night. Small learning curve, but I like it. I have Seven 64 bit, but using IE9 32 bit, much better.

    Computer has had the motherboard, power pak and tv tuner replaced. Using HP Deskjet F440 Printer, and IE9.
installed 32bit on my vista business laptop6hrs ago. I don't know why, it seems slower than my IE8 was:cry: rebooted 8x and updated flash also.


I will install the 64bit on my win7 pro laptop then on my win7 ultimate laptop. what i read is when you install the 64bit IE9 you get the 32bit also ( which is what I will use)
I'll let you all know is a few days.

You need to go to start
Type Internet Explorer
You will see two one is 32 other is 64.
Unpin the IE from the task bar, thats 64 and pin the 32

I tried installing the IE9 32bit on my laptop which is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit but wouldn't let me. I could only download IE9 64 bit.
No big problem but thought I would let you know it didn't work for me.

I misspoke, if you have 64 bit you cannot download 32 bit
You download 64 bit
Unpin the 64 bit from taskbar or desktop

Then you go to search type internet exploerr and drag to desktop

I do not know if Vista has the pin feature, you may have to drag to desktop.
The 64 bit IE has to be removed from desktop, first.

I know it works in Seven, I did it.
