Hello and welcome.

There are many different kinds of Anti-Virus and in this case I would run another full up-dated scan using your security software.

If you do not have this then download malwarebytes and run a full scan also, download the free version. here is the link Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download

After scanning them both please post back to this thread and let us know the results.

Hi welcome to the forum.
Have you checked for a list of your Favourites in Documents or Files/Folders?
There is usually a duplicate record kept of what is on your Bar.
However, I don't know the extent of your virus damage.
It would I think be worth a look?
Thank you.

I wonder if it is possible to recover the document files of your favourites using the program Recuva?
I know it is usually known for the recovery of mistakenly deleted files etc.

Download Recuva 1.40.525 - FileHippo.com Freeware

However it is capable of bringing files back after, virus, crashes, and so on.
I leave it to you to see if it is worth a try.
Thank you .
