Ive had this computer for like 2-4 years and it seemed to work great, but now im having a ton of issues with it, and i guess the first one i want to fix is that when i click a link and it opens a new tab it says explorer stops working and then i hit the close thing. i have a theory that its facemoods.com which randomly took over my homepage a while ago, but i cant seem to figure out to remove it from home page and remove it from when i open up a new tab. please help!

Could be a virus or other malware. Download Malwarebytes Malwarebytes : Free anti-malware, anti-virus and spyware removal download and run a full scan. See if that helps. Do this even if you already have a different antivirus installed. If you do, (you should) then run a full scan with that as well. Also, go to Programs and Features and uninstall any suspicious programs in there, ESPECIALLY any "toolbars" (such as Bing Toolbar, Ask.com Toolbar, etc.)
