Hi, Hope someone can help, i've downloaded ie 9 and a message appeared saying it was successfully installed.





However there is no desktop icon to click on. If i click on the taskbar or dock icons.It says launch internet explorer 9, but nothing happens.

If i look in installed updates Windows Internet Explorer 9 is there.


info os vista 32 bit sp2

Thanks for reply, i tried what you said.
What happens is after I've dragged it to the desktop and clicked on the icon (which is the msn icon for some reason).

I get the original page i downloaded from which is from goggle chrome, so by doing as you said i,m still accessing chrome not ie 9 any ideas.

hi sorry for delay in getting back, well i followed your link and downloaded ie 9. Same as before , no icons but if you look in installed updates its there..

So i uninstalled and downloaded ie 8.This is also doing the same thing, this was previously ok.
