    Can't Disable Google Preview

Google has that preview feature that shows an image of a webpage on the right margin. I believe it's enabled by clicking the magnifying glass next to a search result and is disabled by clicking anywhere on the search page that isn't a link (shows a hand icon.) I've been able to disable this feature before but now I can't. I've cleared IE8's internet history, cookies, temp files and even system restored to two days ago but the preview feature still persists.

    Thanks.

    Re: Can't Disable Google Preview

Apparently, Google has made Google Preview a permanent/involuntary feature.

Choosing the result you want just became easier - Inside Search

I found a way to disable it in IE8. Just add google as a restricted site.
