Solved Change size of webpage

Don't know how it happened, but the size of my webpage is almost twice the size of my computer screen. Please tell me how to reset the size of my screen. It is about 12 inches diagonally. My computer is a Compaq, 32 bit OS, with 1.50 GB of RAM.
Thank you.

Hello Brit,

Perhaps you mean resizing the window? If so, go to your start menu task bar, bring the mouse over the open internet icon, put it over the thumbnail that appears, RIGHT click it and select 'size', and the tap the down arrow on the keyboard twice

* You can do the same thing all over again and tap the left arrow twice to resize it sideways instead of up and down.

Also try clicking onto the webpage then press the "CTRL" key on your keyboard and roll your mouse wheel at the same time.

I thought I had this problem fixed, but NOT! I tried DustSailor's suggestion and it did not work on my computer. First of all, I could not find a Start Task Bar, so could not do the rest of his suggestion.
I tried z3R010's suggestion to click on desktop, hold down control key and scroll the mouse; this worked but only vertically.
RichC46 said to adjust resolution. I tried all the settings and it does not shrink my screen horizontally. Any other suggestions? Help! My monitor is a Westinghouse, 19".
Should I try to Restore to an earlier date?

Hey Brit,

A simple google or Bing search can tell you what a task bar is or what it looks like. Don't go getting lazy on me now buddy: start task bar - Bing Images

Have you installed the driver for the video card or on board motherboard driver? Fill in your system specs so we can help you out further (found here): http://www.vistax64.com/profile.php?do=extra

If you go to where Richc46 led you in getting to where you change the resolution, find the option that says, 'recommended', as in this picture here: Capture.PNG

*It will have a different size recommendation for your monitor, perhaps.
