Hi Folks,

I have 3 user id's on my computer (Vista 32).....each user id had a different e-mail address. One for business one for family etc.

Why would an e-mail addressed to one user id's e-mail...show up in the inbox of another user id's e-mail that is a completely different e-mail address.

This has happened twice in the last two weeks. Is this an indication of something?

Thanks for any insight

Welcome
It is rather difficult to answer why, but here are some solutions that may work
Download and use the most current EMail Client: Windows Live Mail 2011.
If you are already using 2011, try another client altogether. I like Thunderbird.

If the problem just started, it sounds like corruption. You may want to try to remove the problem ID's and then put it in again. If that does not work, the above solutions most certainaly will.

Richard Thanks,

I am not that tech savvy so my question is if I do download the most recent e-mail client as you said....live mail 2011........will I lose my archive inbox of e-mails?

Also I should say that I recently had a trojan that my mcAfee software removed, and malware bytes did as well.........my system was somewhat screwed up for a couple of days until the software did its work.

Now my browsing is stable again....wasn't for a few days.....so maybe that was the problem?

Last question is if I wanted to burn my e-mail archive to a cd-r which folder and where would that be to do that?

Thanks very much

I can only tell you how things should work. If you download the most current you should not lose, but no one really knows. You can back up and save your mail however. Go to file, at the top, and then export. You can save in a folder or finger drive etc.
