Solved What happens if you have the older version of Firefox?

I downloaded Firefox (the 15 verison, which is the latest version). I didn't like it since it was kinda slow, so I switched to the older version. I currently have the 3.6.28 version of Firefox. However, there is a pop-up that keeps popping up when I open Firefox. The pop-up warned me to upgrade. I really don't want to upgrade to the newer version because the older version is REALLY fast. What will happen if I don't have the latest version of Firefox? Will this give me any bad viruses because the older version doesn't have full protection?

There are several potential problems. The first was mentioned by you, security not up to par.
The second might be websites that do not work as they should.
I would always stay up to date due to the security problem.
There are a lot of browsers out there, Chrome has the reputation of being fast.

Go to the Menu bar of firefox adn click tools. In tools, you will see in last, options, click it. When you would click it, it will open a new window. In that window, you will find an icon Advanced. Click it and choose the tab Update. Un-check first three checkboxes and click OK
