Search/address Bar missing from toolbar

All was fine until I had my computer worked on. Then the toolbar with the bing (I think) small search bar was missing from the right top. I went to View, toolbars, drop-down did not have "address bar" to click on. Please help. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your time in trying to solve this for me. Let me reiterate (sp) once more that I am not computer saavy. All I know is that everything was fine until I have someone, supposedly work on it to see if I needed any clean up in an attempt to make it run faster. When I went to my home page which is MSN, there was a search bar at athe beginning of the MSN page (large) and it had Bing next to it. I looked up at the toolbar where I have the line with Menu, View, etc., and a Favorites Bar. The small search box at the top right, I think it was bing also, was gone. I don't know what kind of toolbar I had or what it is now. I just want the search bar back as I have to revert back to the home page in order to search for anything. I have researched and can't seem to fix it. Everybody is telling me to go to View to toolbars and on the drop down click on address bar (if that is what I want) and there is no option for that. The only check marks there are on "Menu" and Favorites Bar, and lock toolbars. PLEASE, somebody walk me through this. Everything else is too confusing. I am afraid to "uninstall" anything because I don'w know what I'm uninstalling. And if I did, what and how would I RE-install and what. If someone else worked on your computer to clean it perhaps they uninstalled a toolbar that they thought that you didn't need. Since you don't even know what the toolbar is called perhaps it is easier just to take your system back to them.
