IE 10 and Vista...and third parties

I was told by both DealsCube and DWOLLA that because IE9 is outdated they cannot carry on with transactions(sending payments). I was advised to update to IE 10 or Google Chrome.

I thought IE 10 is applicable only to W8. And I always equate anything google, like google chrome with adwares purveyor. (I am almost certain I had more ads when I was using google search. Less with Bing. Seriously)

Any thoughts about my thoughts, guys?

Here are my thoughts on your problem:
Deals cube made the decision to limit their transactions to users of IE10 and a few other browsers. This is a done deal.
Your only choice is to use another browser when trying to make a trasaction with DealsCube is to use one of the suggested browsers (not IE10) as it is not applicable to Vista. As far as I know there are no extra spam with Chrome.
Sorry but that is the situation.
Your only choice if the ads do concern you is to install both IE and Chrome, make Exp. the defautl and use Chrome only when going to the problem site.

Well, I had to use another browser which led me to Firefox. What d'ya know? Installation and data importing went lightning speed. And now I am certain I am surfing much faster. Is FF really this much speedier than IE9?

When I was forced to install FF to enable DealsCube pay now button, I intended to uninstall it the moment Payment is sent. But now I think I am going to keep both browsers(since IE is not uninstallable)

Concern: Any downlow/disadvantage for having two browsers?

Having two browsers does not present a problem. Only one is used at a time and the other will be disabled.
