I'm sorry but I think soon I might abandon my beloved windows for a Mac, and will probably sell the laptop I'm typing from. Not now, probably a couple months from now, but I still want to get a price on my computer. I'll usually would put it on Craiglist or Ebay but since I dont have my new laptop yet, I can't. I have, but when I format, its SP1 and I don't want to go in an install it, I want them to go through the initial settings phase.

Of course I have SP1! And I can't slipstream SP2 into my disc because its a 2-part recovery disc.

Yeah but its 17" and weighs 8lbs. But you may be right. I took an appraisal somewhere else and it said about $690.

$690 would be definitely too much. A 17" is usually more expensive than a 14". But if you want to look at more prices, have a look here: Deals2buy: Laptop deals
