Solved Jhoos Messenger Service - What is it, and how safe?

What bad, bad,habit?

A neice has invited me to be 'her friend' at Jhoos Messenger Service.

However, while not wishing to put her pretty little nose out of joint, I've had a look at the Jhoos Privacy Statement and frankly, don't really like what I read......basically, and from all appearances, there is no privacy. Jhoos lays claim to collect and retain all manner of personal information, as it's right.

Will appreciate any comment, or experience with Jhoos from Forum Members. In the meantime, I'm hovering over the 'decline' button.

.....so it's refer sender and domain to the Junk Mail and blocked list, and a firm delete of all reference.

Jhoos is the worst form of internet virus out there. It tricks people so that they enter their email passwords, but not only that, it also sends out emails to every one of your email contacts so that they get the virus too.

Imagine if you are working overseas, and you have been separated from your family for many years because of this. But finally after the GFC, you finally get a job at your home-country. All was to end well. EXCEPT jhoos decided to end it all for you.

They send emails to those people who just offered you your job, the one and only job, that last spark of hope, you and your family finally got. Jhoos is the one to blame for stealing away that last spark of hope.

Just one click, the hope of finally living together with your family is taken away from you. How would you feel? You let yourself down, your whole family down, all the 150 email contacts and their friends might have fallen into the trap too, ruining their lives, their friends’ families… it goes on.

You brought despair to more than a thousand people just because of one click. Just becuase of Jhoos, many lives were ruined, are still being ruined. Because of Jhoos.
Jhoos is a mass murderer, takes away life from humanity. In the end it is Jhoos that ended our existance on earth. A large asteriod ended the existance of dinosaurs. But a single click of the mouse ended ours.

Firstly this thread is over a year old now and seeing as it is solved, there is no need to re-open it.

I doubt that many people will be in that position that you described, especially because this sort of software will be blocked by antivirus programs, and junk mail filters.

On another note, I am not willing to join your partitionbecause firstly a partition is something that separates two things, I think you mean a petition, and secondly trying to stop these people will be very difficult and if you do want to stop things like this from happening, then there are thousands of better targets than Jhoos.

Re: Jhoos - DELETE IT IN HOTMAIL PROFILE

Hi,
You can delete it in your hotmail or windows live 'profile', then
go to privacy settings -
then down the bottom 'Manage connections with other services'
view the second one - 'the services you have connected to your Windows Live ID'
(or just look in both)
then it will take you to another page, then you can revoke any services that are showing there, like JHOOS!
