NASA LCross satellite to crash into the moon

Nasa is all set to crash a hogh ompact satellite into the moon in a search for water on the moon. Its due to impact friday morning 7:30 ama est and should be visible to the naked eye herre on the earth

Wow, "a possibility of live footage from a telescope?".. That's pretty awesome. That would be too cool to see it crash in the moon with the naked eye.

Fingers crossed that the live footage from the University of Hawaii, 88-inch telescope on Mauna Kea is forthcoming.

If y ou ever happen to be traveling to that part of the world this is a stop you want to make. 14,000 ft giant telescope. wonderful sunrises, and the clouds are below you.
