Acer laptops are the definition of rubbish. I tried out a useless netbook from Acer that broke in 6 months, and their laptop build quality is cheap.

Sorry to hear some hard luck stories but mine works brilliantly(2 yrs old and made in China),may be I'm lucky.

i have had no problems with my acer desktop..... well other then them locking the bio's :p haha and my monitors are great

I am on my sister-in-law's acer notebook right now. It's not old, but one key has fallen off and her second power cord is faulty. Ugh. What a pos. At least this one. But it does have Vista installed - yea!
