Vista - Will 'You' Admit It?

Who here on Vista Forums plays RuneScape? And who is brave enough to admit. If you do play post your user name so I can get to know you!

Most people think the game is for little kids and is boring. But truthfully the game has advanced over the years and became like most other MMORPG's.

If you have any opinions express them here; I would like to hear everyone's opinion if possible!

It's addicting no matter how you try to resist it.

But dang are you still a low level? im already 88 after a year and a 1/2.

I've heard that people sell accounts on e-bay? Is that right?

The game scnene has ner interested me but watching my sons play this game I began to see the attraction. It's all harmless fun isnt it?

I dont like that other game 'War craft something'? It's very violent and blood thirsty.
as a Mummy, thats not something I weant to encourage my teenagers to play. Mind you, having said that if my memory serves me correctly, doesnt Runscape have some violence too?

Oh well, as long as people leave the 'imaginary violence' behind when they leave the house and dont try to replicate the scenes in real life, is should be harmless fun...right?

Yes 'World of Warcraft' is the game you are thinking about. But there isn't much "more" violence in that game then there is in RuneScape.

Both of these games help people, in general, work with other teams to accomplish a task. It all uses communication and helps build teamwork in the end; which is a life skill that is needed. Personally I feel games like these are perfect for the children out there. And yes it is 'harmless violence,' as long as the person playing the game has some common sense.

EDIT: And yes people do 'illegally' sell their accounts on E-Bay. By 'illegal' I mean, within RuneScape's terms and conditions you aren't aloud to account-share. But most people do anyways. It also ruins the whole fun of the game to buy someone's account and not put any work into leveling it up.

No it's not my kind of game and I don't play online games anyway, too busy doing other things online rather than playing games.

I used to play MMORPG's a couple of years ago...

Then I started college.

No time for anything but work and school now... and of course Vista Forums!

Lol, this seems to be the case with most people on here. Only one other person that me has stated that they play RuneScape; and 14 have said no.

Ha, yeah, that seems to be the case. I sure wish I had time to do something entertaining like that. I used to be a big Halo buff... although I only played the Combat Evolved trial version. lol
