HDD ghost

I need to ghost a Ubuntu install from one HDD to another. Since Vista can't read the ext3 filesystem I cannot read the contents of the HDD in (My) Computer however Windows still recognises the drive.

Does anyone know a program\DOS app that can ghost the OS from one drive to another from within Windows or Ubuntu?

Another little tricky dimension to add, the initial drive is 40GB however the drive I need to ghost to is half that, 20GB.

EDIT: My original post was awful so I reworded it slightly.

Re: HDD ghost

I don't know of a program that can ghost it, but Ubuntu is a version of linux. Windows wont recognize it as it isn't windows or msdos.

Re: HDD ghost

Thanks guys. I ended up using CloneZilla to duplicate the HDD onto another two HDDs.

Ghosting from a 40GB HDD to a 20GB HDD is, as I have discovered, possible but difficult. I ended up installing Ubuntu onto the smaller HDD and ghosting from that HDD.
