the uk is a strange but mellow place, i believe that john compared it to the USA? It's more like the netherlands in some places, we don't have states, we have countries and regions within them countries...
but these regions can have several countys, for example, the northwest has a few, lancashire, cumbria, yorkshire west, some parts of cheshire.
its the same story across the board with other regions but it does get simpler.
