    I actually emailed 2 people i know down there and wished a Happy Australia Day, seems to be the anniversary of the day the Island was invaded, so to speak , by White Men, English, some say made into a penal colony. I have not researched it in total, just chatted with those 2 people down there .

    It's more tradition I guess. I'm entirely opposed to what the English did to the native Aussies but today's just a fun day that celebrates our multiculturalism rather than our differences.
