when opening nvidia monitor or cpu settings on my nvidia control panel I get a blue screen and have to reboot .Any ideas its a nvidia based system so should be able to run their software ??

did you install nvidia's chipset drivers first?

yes I did things in the right order its a shame i cant use the monitor for temps and voltage

try the nVidia System Monitor

The 780i is not supported by ntune. Your mobo supports the Enthusiast System Architecture (ESA). The new nvidia system utility for ESA is a supercharged version of ntune.

Any problems with your sound card?

that seems fine .I just get the odd blue screen with certain programs.

Do you use 5.1 speakers or any of the cmss features with your sound card?

no i havw 200 w 2.1 which suites me
