BSOD is killing me right now.

My Rig:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+
Hard Drive:
500GB WD
RAM:
Corsair Dominator DDR2 4GB
Mother Board:
ASUS P5QL PRO
Power Supply:
BFG 800W

I am getting Constant 0A's (IRQL Not less or equal)
I have also on occasion got Win32k.sys Address 96EFAABA & 01's (APC Index Mismatch)

At first I figured it was a virus so after I couldn't remove what I thought was a virus, I reformatted
I now have Windows Vista Ult. x32.
At first I thought it was a hardware problem, maybe overheating causes the BSOD as I would only get it when playing Left 4 Dead or other high end games. Now I get it often, even while not playing games.

Some other Weird things that are happening:
Sometimes my mouse and keyboard will stop working, and when I press the power button to turn off my computer, it shuts down right away (as opposed to holding the power button in).
After shutting down my computer, I sometimes have to wait a minute or two before I can turn on my computer again because my monitor will not display anything but a black screen (even though it is on). I think this is because it's a SHARP HDTV, and perhaps something may be wrong with it.

I've tried downloading the newest driver for my G-card, but now I'm getting the BSOD more frequently.

I'm willing to try whatever it takes, but reformatting didn't seem to fix the problem. Also, will all of this go away if I use Windows XP?

Any suggestions would be helpful. Please help.

**EDIT**
I was looking through some other forums and while I already knew that nvidia G-cards have driver problems with vista, I found that there are many people with the combination of NVIDIA graphics with Corsair RAM (Some also had the ASUS MB)
Any way that this combo could be the problem?

You don't mention whether you have the latest drivers for your sound, monitor and video as you only said that you TRIED downloading them but never stated if you were able to install them correctly.

You have two cards, correct? if so... did you ENABLE SLI for the cards?

Go to your Device manager and tell us the version drivers for your Display Settings, Audio and Monitors and whether the name of your hardware shows there or just STD VGA display and PnP Monitors is showned.

Heat is also another issue you may be having, what kind of case do you have an what cpu cooler are you using?

It is also a good idea to go to your profile and list your System Specs there so when you are looking for help, all we got to do is look up your specs.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. When I said "I tried" I meant that I successfully downloaded and installed the newest drivers (unless the drivers were already up to date), but that failed to fix the problem.

I have only one graphic card and that is the NVIDIA 9800 GTX+ (I simply copy and pasted the "NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX/9800 GTX+" from my system specs).

I searched for new Display Adapter, Monitor, Processors, and Sound Controllers (High Definition Audio Device) updates and I received the fallowing message for every one.
"Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date."

Display Adapters --> NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ --> Driver Version: 7.15.11.8208
Monitors --> Generic PnP Monitor --> Driver Version: 6.0.6001.18000
Sound, video, and game controllers --> High Definition Audio Device --> Driver Version: 6.0.6000.16386

There is this...
ATK0110 ACPI UTILITY
"Windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it"
"Driver is not intended for this platform"
I'm not sure about this, and I don't want to go making anything worse by changing it without help first.

As for my case, It's a simple Antec metal case.
As for cpu cooling, I have the obvious artic cool, and regular cpu fan.
When my CPU is under 25 Degrees Celsius, I have my cpu fan run at about 1,200 rpm's and when it is 25 or higher, it runs at 100% of 1917 rpm.
If this helps at all, I wrote down the highest temp, voltage, cpu usage, ram usage, etc while playing my most high end game.
CPU Temp: 39°C
System Temp: 36°C
Voltage: 1.1920 V
2496.66 MHz
55% RAM Usage (rarely goes below 30%)
60% CPU Usage

I will post my system specs in my profile soon, Thank you.

You may see a whole bunch of DMP files in your \Windows\Minidump folder. Each one is a summary of info about one particular crash instance. If you copy a few of the latest DMP files to somewhere else, then zip them up and upload them here, someone might be able to tell you more about why the machine is crashing.

My Computer

I just uploaded three .dmp files in a .zip. Hopefully this may help. I briefly looked at what I could understand, and I don't know if these will be of much help since, from what I could understand, these are not the main bsod's i've been getting.

ALSO, I havn't gotten a BSOD in about 8 or so hours, but I havn't been on my computer very much during that time, and also have not played a game.

And if you attach those mini dump files for me Jimistr, I can analyse them for you and advise you which driver or programme is causing BSOD.

OK, now that 10E error only came up once, and I think that was because I switched drivers on my video card to see if I had a faulty driver. (I switched the driver b/c i got the 0A - not less or equal). That's when I got the 10E, but since then, I've only gotten IRQL's.

That one time incident is what I meant by not so important crashes :p
Done with KB953026. Now what do I do? Just wait until I get a new error?
Hopefully the BSOD will get tired and stop. Ugh this is making me weary.

I'd suggest you run with that hotfix for a while and see what happens. Don't worry too much about the A/50/D1 "types" of crashes - those numbers aren't nearly as telling as generally believed (the same root cause can manifest itself in several different bugcheck codes).

Two of your dumps show crashes while attempting to access memory normally reserved for the registry. A driver has most likely written to memory regions that it shouldn't be touching, and the crash is an eventual result.

Finding that driver would not be simple, so the first thing you should do is make absolutely darn certain you're on the latest driver for your NIC, video, audio...

After that, if it's still crashing in the exact same way, you should follow Flavius's advice here to try to catch the problem driver:

Minidump 02 has brought this file dxgkrnl.sys which is DirectX graphics Kernel... I beleive this is realted to heat issues but thena agin I coudl be wrong

Minidump 01 has brought this ntkrpamp.exe Use this to clean your Drivers out - http://downloads.guru3d.com/download...2171476965c5ed

Do I just download the Videocard or should I download the widescreen gaming, and intel mb one as well? Until you reply, I will just download the Videocards - NVIDIA GeForce Vista 32|64

*EDIT**
When installing, it said all those files were already on my computer, but I just replaced them all.

Alright, I'll run with what I have for a while to test it.
There is one more thing though.. I downloaded that acdcfan told me to and installed it, when I restarted my computer it asked for the ATK0110 ACPI Utility.
I've seen people have problems with this before and I tried uninstalling it (It was in Device manager --> Other devices --> Unknown device) I figured it was unknown device because in it's details, it's value is ACPI/ATK0110.
After uninstalling it, I rebooted my computer and tried to install it again, same thing.. Not intended for my platform.

**EDIT**
Weird, I just restarted again and could install the ATK0110
