No Minidump file after crash

Hi guys,

i have a problem my pc dont create a minidump file after a crash. the crash come from starting the game sims 3, i would analyse the problem with the minidump file but no file in the windows folder. How can be that ? Maybe its deactivated ? can i activated that function.

my pc

System: Windows Vista 64bit ( SP 1 )
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @2,83GHz
Working memory: 8 GB DDR2-800
Videocard: Nvidia Geforce GTX 280
Mainboard: MSI P45NEO2
CPU fan: Zalman 600 Watt
Soundcard: Creative SB X-Fi Titanium

Did you see the blue screen when it crashed?
Have you looked in the Vista diagnostic tools for more info: Vista's Big 3 Diagnostic tools (+1) - Vox
Did you look in C:\Windows\Minidump for the files?
If you couldn't see that directory, did you enable the viewing of hidden and system files?
If it's still not there, check the C:\Windows directory for a file named MEMORY.DMP? If so, let us know and we'll suggest some alternates (it's too big to upload).
Have you checked your settings to ensure that minidumps are enabled: Change dump file location & size to Minidumps - Vox
Have you checked to ensure that your pagefile is big enough to hold a dump file (the size of your RAM + 3-400 mB)? Have you checked to ensure that your pagefile is on the same volume as your system ?
