Hi,
I've spent a few hours trawling around the net trying to find a solution to a stop code I'm getting on a friends computer every time the computer tries to boot normally. The computer works okay during safe mode, but every time it starts up normally, by the time you try and log on (or soon after logging on) it blue screens and restarts. My friend told me he installed wini fighter just before he got the original blue screen, so i don't know if that's the cause. I've uninstalled it, deleted any reg. entries for it i can find (compared to a list on a website) and also used a tool to remove it.
Basically even in safe mode, i'm unable to update or install any kind of antivirus software, whatever is casuing the blue screen (a virus?) seems to be stopping those from working.
I've got a minidump file I can send if that helps.
