    Problem: Errors/BSOD

    I've had this computer for a while now, and it's worked fine till now. Recently I've been getting a lot of errors, BSOD, and freezing, and sometimes it won't even start with beeping coming from the computer when it doesn't. I am unsure of what the problem is. At first it wasn't so bad, but not it's happening all the time, to the point where I can't really use the computer anymore.

    Information on computer and recent BSOD stop error:

    Windows Vista x32bit Home Edition



    Problem(s):
    BSOD
    Freezing

    BSOD error 9/28/09:

    DRIVER IRQL NOT MORE OR LESS

    Stop: 0x000000D1 (0x10000001, 0x00000002, 0x00000008, 0x10000001)

    Can anyone tell me what the problem could be, and how to fix it? I'm in a bit of a jam here, and need a solution.

    please go to c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us.

    Hi, I have a similar problem too. Except that in my case, after a startup, my screen would stay on :

    "Collecting data for crash dump ...
    Initializing disk for crash dump ... "

    and just stay there for hours. Has my HDD died?

    cougardf - Please start your own topic so that your issue can receive the individual attention that it deserves (and so it won't detract from Narada's topic).

    Additionally, please fill out your system specs to include the exact make and model of your system.
