Help I am running into random BSOD's on my vista 32 bit system. Sometimes it runs for days fine other times it will only run 5 minutes before it BSOD's on me. At first I thought it was my ram and after removing and replacing one stick it quit for a while, but now it is worse than ever. Please help me out.

CAn you go into c:\windows\minidump, zip the dump file (*.dmp) and upload it to us.

I will try but I am having difficult just getting it to boot up. I keep getting BSOD on boot up they all have different files listed though.

Well after many tried I can not even get vista to boot now. I have seen different errors and don't know what else to try.

Do you have a Vista installation disk?
Can you start the computer up in Safe Mode (rapidly tap F8 just before the Windows Splash Screen shows up)?

My Computer

I have a system restore disk but when I try to load it up it BSOD's on me also, and I can't get it to start in safe mode, though when it would it would still Blue screen me.

Well since I was unable to even boot I figured I would check and see if it was a hardware problem and believe it or not I unplug my dvd-rom and now I am not having any problems so far.

Is your dvd-rom IDE or SATA?

You are supposed to replace RAM in pairs.

Make sure you have paired ram (i.e. Same manufacturer is always a good idea.)
Also, make sure you arent over heating, that could always cause some problems.

My Computer

I guess I typed that out wrong, I did replace in pairs, I used 2x 2gb ram. Also I have not had a problem since I unplugged the Dvd rom. As far as over heating only my GPU ever over heats.

I have an update on my problem please assist me. I unhooked the cd-rom and my pc worked great until recently till now it is starting to throw more random bsod's. Could this be mother board related? If not the mother board what else would be causing this.
