Hi, im new to this site and i can say that im new to Windows Vista. Is my 1st time using it. So i keep getting BSoD errors. 0x0000001A, 0x0000003B and 0x0000007F. These are all problems i got until now and i dont know how to resolve them. And is harder because my Windows is on German and i dont understand German. So if someone has a solution please specify how can I do that.
Thanks to all in advance! :)

My Computer

Not a problem - I sprechenze a little Deutsch, and the formatting of the error messages is similar for most languages.

Please zip up the contents of the C:\Windows\Minidump folder, and the upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

If you get access denied errors, please post back for further instructions (try dragging the files to your desktop).
If there's nothing in that folder, please post back for further instructions.

My Computer

Hey thanks! :D ... Here are the files. I couldnt .zip the original files so i just copy-pasted them into the desktop adt these are the copied files. I hope i made right! :)

^^^ Bingo. I would go on the manufactures site and check to see if there are any new driver downloads that you may need. 80% of the time its a outdated driver.

Hello Robyboy,
You need to update you graphics driver, the last BSOD was caused by a DX problem.
Also just check that you have the latest DX version installed.

The next one was caused by video hardware, but that could be just old drivers again.

Go to your motherboard makers site and update your chipset drivers.

Can you list your system specs. (cant do much without them)

Can you confirm that you are not overclocking anything too.

Update your video drivers, chipset set drivers, and post your results, good luck.

wow thanks alot Stoneys! :D i went at the 1st link and i updated my video driver but at the 2nd link i dont know what to do. I dont know where to click. What do i do there? Thanks alot again! :D

My Computer

Glad you got your video driver sorted.

On the MSI site click on the Black "Click Here" box, this will scan your system and give you the choice of updates for your MB.

You can safely do the chipset drivers, but do not use this to update your Bios.
If you need to update your Bios, do it through the Bios itself, much safer.

Thanks Stoneys :) ... But when i click on the "Click Here" box it gives me this:

  • MSI Live Update Online must use Microsoft® Internet Explorer 5.0 and above versions, OS requires Windows® 98SE/ME/2000/XP.
  • MSI Live Update Online uses Microsoft® ActiveX technology, please modify your ActiveX settings to ensure the proceeding of the automatic analysis and download.
  • If your browser has installed Toolbar plug-ins, which might affect the normal operation of MSI Update Online. Please check your Toolbar-related settings to ensure the proceeding of the update service.
  • In the BIOS/Firmware flashing procedure, the instability of the PSU (Power Supply Unit), power failure or other operating errors might result in the process failure which makes the system fail to re-boot, which are not guaranteed by MSI's product warranty.
Important! In order to flash the BIOS/Firmware safely, please make sure to close all running applications in your system before flashing. (Including Outlook, ICQ, Anti-Virus application, etc…)
Yes, I would like to try it at my own risk. No, I'd like to keep everything unchanged.

What do i click? I should click "Yes" right?

My Computer

No, if you need to update the Bios, download it to a USB flash drive and use that to update it in the Bios.
It looks like they don't support Vista yet.
You can go to the drop down box on the right and download your updates manually there.
Choose Mainboard, then your model, from there you should go to the download page, from there you can choose the downloads you want.

Go to the ATI website and download the latest drivers for your ATI Radeon HD 4350. Download the drivers only - NOT the Catalyst Control Center

Uninstall all the ATI stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program

Install the freshly downloaded drivers.
****************************
I only analyzed the last 4 BSODs. Here's the results:

The first one blamed ewusbmdm.sys which seems to belong to a HUAWEI USB Modem

Download the latest driver from the Huawei website
Uninstall the current device from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
Check in Device Manager to be sure that the device is uninstalled.
Install the freshly downloaded driver.

Please update the nvmfdx64.sys driver (dated Sat Nov 17 18:47:57 2007).
Please visit Windows Update and update the system to Service Pack 2

Finally, check inside your case to ensure that the video card is properly seated, that it's clean and free of dust/hairballs, that the case has adequate ventilation to cool the card, and that the fan on the card (if so equipped) is working.

Robyboy,

You can get all of your specs by running DXDIAG. It may pay you to do this in safe mode!! If you go into safe mode then click start menu all programs. Open up Run and type DXDIAG. This will scan your system and ask you to save it. Post it on here and people can help you. You should also be able to change your language from the control panel until you resolve your issues.

Hope this helps!!!
