Constant BSODs on Vista Home Premium x64

Hey guys.
So for the past 3 months or so i've been getting BSODs about 3-10 minutes after starting up. I didn't really mind that much because it would restart and work fine after that, and i didn't have time to fix it anyway. But now i'm starting to get two or three in a row. Today was particularly bad... i started up and crashed as usual, and it cited the file winsys.sys (i think) and bccode 50. Then it did it again, this time saying it was "trying to execute a non-executable file". Then i started in safe mode and it crashed for the same reason. It's been working fine since then.

All the research i've done so far points to memory and video card problems... but i've updated my video card drivers and the memory diagnostic test (as well as the full computer diagnostic test) comes out clear. i'm out of ideas, and before i mess with new hardware or moving stuff around, i wanted to come here. I'll post crash dumps soon. Thanks for the help.

By the way... summary of specs
Vista Home Premium x64
6.00 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GS

thanks much

Looks like it was caused by hardware. First, try a system files check. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.

However, I suspect your hard drive/controller. See if there is a chipset update for your machine, and update your hard drive controller drivers.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80002668fcb, The address that the exception occurred at
Arg3: fffffa60022e8a18, Exception Record Address
Arg4: fffffa60022e83f0, Context Record Address

noob question... i can't extract the iso file from the .rar....it just extracts to another .rar... what do?

never mind, just had to change the default program.

another question though... where exactly would i find a chip set update, and for what would it be for?

Hey guys.
So last night something strange happened...even though i've regularly downloaded updates from windows update, last night it randomly presented me with 11 updates... 10 security and 1 for my video card, which came out in june 2009. I know you haven't pointed out my video card as a problem, but in my personal research i saw a lot about video cards being a problem. I think this might have solved it because i haven't crashed yet.

But just in case it does still crash later...
i ran memtest for 11 passes and i got no errors...
and i also downloaded i BIOS update for my machine.
here's a link to the list of drivers for my model. please looks through them and tell me if there's anything else that's really important that i should install.
