Hi there, I have a Gateway computer running Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit. I came to my computer and there was a black screen, so I tried doing the ctrl-alt-del and nothing happened. I then powered my computer down, unplugged it and then plugged it back in and started it back up. From there it went through everything however after the green bar it stopped! 
I could hear it doing something but nothing happend on the screen. I left it overnight thinking it might take some time, but came in the morning and the same screen was showing. I then powered it back down and tried again only this time tried to go in safe mode with comand prompt and it started however hung on \windows\system32\drivers\crcdisk.sys.
How do I resolve this and use my computer again? Oh and I have also tried re-installing windows but again it gets to a blue windows screen with just a mouse arrow and hangs.
I have tried pretty much everything I have read online and nothing is working.
I am not a computer tech and don't know much about Vista so please if you need more info please let me know!
