    After updating my Windows Vista software my laptop will no longer even start up. I tried everything even safe mode and restoring to a previous good start up and nothing seems to work. No matter what I do I always get the same message and the computer locks up - !! oxc0000034 !! 434/98649 ($$_system32_en-us_liceses_eval_homepremiu...)

    If you have a Vista disk, follow this tutorial.

    Startup Repair

    If you don't have a Vista disk, follow this tutorial., then the above.

    Create a Recovery Disc
