Vista crashes, nvlddmkm error.

Hello, I am new around here but am in need of some serious help. Ever since I have bought Vista, I have not been happy with it. So, when I recently bought the game All Points Bulletin, I was quickly saddened. I could not play the game without the game locking up, and odd artifacts covering my screen. So, I did a hard reboot, and tried again. Same result. In some cases, my monitor would go blank and in a few minutes I'd get a blue screen, saying something about nvlddmkm.sys. After reading around, i found that the KB938194 hotfix would fix all the problems I was having. I go download the version for my OS (Windows Vista Home Premium x64) but, when I go to install it, it says this update is not for my system. Someone says it was throwing this error because I already have it installed, but that is not the case. So please, if anyone could supply any help, I would be forever grateful. Thanks! -Spy

Whats your gpu temp? This error is nvidia driver related.

EDIT: This is basically what happens, and it only does this on graphics intense games.

Weird, I have the same card, and a bfg one.

Maybe a bad card, Use this memory tester
Folding@home - DownloadUtils
To test the gpu memmory.

g80 will test out the memmory, if its bad, and youre still on a warrentee, rma it quick, xfx doesnt do nvidias much anymore..
