As you may have noticed you have a large number of BSODs. Most have different causes, this is one indication of a hardware problem. Remember, this is an art and not a science, so your problem may turn out to be software, but not likely.
To start use the instructions for BC 124 as a general guideline.
If you have any questions please ask.
http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...-what-try.html

Do not take any suggestions regarding BIOS at this point, as that is a last resort.
Ignore number 2 4 6 7 9 and the backgroud. The remainder is a good guide as to what should be done.

Priority suggestions per your particular problem at this point is to
Test memory
Test Hard Drive from the manufacturer website.
Update old drivers.
Run an antivirus scan and download and run malwarebytes.

Rather large number of outdated drivers, this may be the source of the problem. Since it is impractical to update such a large number, at this point. It may be better to take the driver verifier test, which will make your computer BSOD, as it is stressing out bad drivers. Run for at least 36 hours of use. There are about 3 dozen bad drivers.

Many links that I have given reference Windows 7, Vista is the same for these purposes.

Here is a list of the old drivers. The dates of some are really old. When we do get the BSOD corrected you should update these drivers; a disaster waiting to happen. Each dump shows that about 50% of your drivers are outdated

Hi,

I am taking yor advice, first i am updating my drivers (i bought my computer in 2008 so i really am surprised of the old drivers). I made a mem test and a hhdd test and everything is fine. I cleaned my registry, it had a lot o errors. I normally use Advanced System care but it seems it is not enough.

I am going to open the case to clean dust in case this is the problem.

I want to ask you this: i have notice that i have more BSOD when i use the power option of vista and set it to maximun power, when the minimum effort for a processor is 90 % and the maximum 100%. If a choose another plan, where the minimum effort for the processor is lower, like now for example 75 %, the BSOD nealy desapear. Dou you think it could be a relartionship between the power plan and the BSOD? Which could be the better plan for my computer to get the maximum performance with the best reability (Acer Aspire m5610, Core 2 Quad 6600)?

Thanks

BSOD can be from overheating
Overclocking too
Can be CPU related
So it can be an indication of the cause.

Just a few minutes ago we published this awsome Tutorial on Memtest. Is this exactly what you did?
RAM - Test with Memtest86+ - Windows 7 Forums

Some of those drivers may not be outdated, we need to use arbitrary dates.

I am going to repeat the mem test with my Hirens bootcd tonite because i didn´t make it last for seven passes, let´s see waht´s happens.

I am very concerned about the power plan and overheating. Here in Spain where i live we have temperatures over 35 C, and some days over 40 C during the summer. Maybe overheating is related to my problem. Anyway, i will continue to investigate the problem.

Hi,

I am not having troubles now with BSOD. Here is what i did:

1.- HHDD test ok.
2.- Mem test ok.
3.- Cleaned my registry with free windows registry repair.
4.- I updated some programs and unistalled some others that were old and i didn´t use.
5.- I choosed balanced power scheme in vista power management.
6.- Defrag the disk and the registry.
7.- Combofix, deleted three files, i don´t know why.

Things to do:

- update some drivers.
- Clean the case.

I´ll let you know if everything goes fine.

Thanks for your help

I think that your Problem is Solved but Do those Tasks First and see if the BSOD Occurs
