BSOD on bootup

Hi all,
BSOD after computer crashes. I am currently running Vista HP X64 and using Window disk to boot back up. Not sure where the actual problem lies or how long this PC will keep running. Crashes after about 10 minutes or so and then will boot back up after I hit 'Start Window Normally' I am unable to read the blue screen as the print is all distorted. I am going to attach my Minidump file. Perhaps you can tell me how to resolve this issue.
Thanks,
John

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for the quick response.I believe I followed the instructions you gave correctly. If not I'll repeat the proceedure. This all started this morning. Computer booted/posted to setup screen o.k. Then there was a BSOD that occured so quicly it was unbelievable, and it was all garbled up I was unable to read it. Then proceeded into Windows and ran fine for approx. 15 mins and shut down/rebooted again by it self, BSOD etc. I put the Windows disk in and have the machine using that as a boot disk just in case the problem is in the Boot Sector.
This System Specs are:
Windows Home Premium X64 SP2 OEM All updtes installed and current
Original OS installed when built by me March 2009 no re-installs
Age of system 1.5 yrs
CPU AMD X4 9950 BE AM2 = never oc'd
VIDEO via onboard graphics ATI Radeon 3300 drivers ar up to date
Motherboard ASUS M3A78-T AM2/AM2+
PSU ULTRA X3 1000W

I was able to run Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool....no errors reported on 2 passes. Ran latest version Malwarebytes...no issues, Ran AV ESET NOD32
....full scan no issues. It's running now;but I don't know for how long. ;)
Thanks,
Jakeman97

Hi Rich46,
I'm leaning toward ATI driver issue as i recent ly un-installed 2 XFX 5770 cards and went back to onboard ATI 3300, maybe I didn't get all the garbage out?? Also heat could be an issue according yo ASUS setup just now the Temps were CPU 36C Motherboard 43C. I have a big ULTRA m998 case with a push/pull 120 front to back fans and the CPU cooler is stock 9950 issue. All fans running. Two air intakes on side window one directly over the CPU.

O.K Rich, I kind thought this is where I would end up with this one. Problem when you cannot read the BSOD because of the corrupted screen and all the crazy artifacting going on. Once you told me the driver involved I googled and found it all over the place...Thank you ATI....I know about driversweeper to get all those hidden ATI files off the registry.
Thanks for all your help and Jonathan too.

You have been around for a while, so you know how great it feels to have success, so thank you, too. Jon is currently off-line but I know that he will be just as pleased as me to know that your problem has been resolved.
Thanks, too, for the generous rep.
Take care.

Re: BSOD on bootup SOLVED

Hi all,
Thought I would return with the final solution that solved my Boot-up BSOD dilemma. This all started after I uninstalled (2) XFX Radeon HD 5700 video cards from my ASUS M3A78-T mobo and reverted back to Onboard Graphics Radeon HD 3300. This mobo has an ATI chipset and that's the key right there. When I uninstalled the ATI Catalyst and drivers in add remove programs I used 'Express Uninstall' BIG MISTAKE!! This removed the onboard chipset drivers too!
Suggest you use 'Uninstall Manager' and look at what your doing. Check only what you want to uninstall otherwise it will take anything that says ATI. In summary, if your mobo has an ATI Chipset, uncheck it, also uncheck your USB, and Audio Drivers.
SOLUTION....Used my Motherboard Driver Disk and reinstalled only the chipset drivers. Computer boots perfectly now. :D
Wishing you all well in solving your BSOD problems, because they are annoying.
