ntoskrnl fix?

ok so, i got a blue screen the other day and the dump file associated with it related to the ntoskrnl missing or corrupted, i tried a windows repair with the disc and it did nothing.... how do i fix this missing or corrupted file?

Update this driver, given as one of the probable causes stdriver64.sys
Run a repair install to see if you can replace: ntoskrnl . This may solve your problem.
Then try a SFC /scannow

Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. Since there are so many, do a few, but use the driver verifier to indicate the immediate problem.
Uninstall your current Anti Virus and replace with Microsoft Security Essentials.

Those reports are not always that accurate. Try a system restore. I gave instructions, up above. I gave instructions on my first post, how to extract from the install DVD. I think, that an easy system restore is all you need, however.
