startup repair problem HELP

HI EVERYONE
i have vista home premium 32bit and i don't know why but i can't start it anymore.
it hapened before and i used the dvd and startup repair and it works
but yesterday when it hapened again in startup repair there is a message says

startup repair could not detect a problem

if you have recently attached a device to this comuter remove it and restart..

but i have nothing attached and i repeat that like 5 times and nothing
if there is other way to fix that without format my pc please tell me

i have importent files on it in (c:/) drive and i don't want to lost them
please i realy need help

Type c: then type chkdsk /f on command prompt at the recovery DVD. If that doesn't work try System restore - system restore only affects on system files - not your personal files.

for the (c: the chkdsk/f) it didn't work it says failed and something like that and for restore system it didn't work either it says no restore point and when i click system protection to create one it says
your compiter is running in a limited diagnostic. if you use system restore in this limited state, you cannot undo the restore operation.
and then nothing
please i realy need help

Okay Do you have an Installation Disk and could Burn this ISO to a Disk this is Ubuntu 10.04 so you can Recover your Data


See Download | Ubuntu For more Information


And then Boot into this CD and recover your Data

After that if you have an Instalation Disk
