BSOD from firefox 3.6.9 install

Hello, I'm new to this forum, but had run across here when I started having BSOD at least once a day. This all started when I installed the latest ver of firefox about 3 weeks ago...BSOD afterwards, all of various messages during the BSOD. I've uninstalled firefox since then, started to re-use IE8 again, but now whenever IE crashes, I get BSOD. I've reseated my memory...nothing. Now I'm wondering if my AMD proc might be running slightly overheating, but I haven't tested that yet.

Could this be actual HW problem or maybe after the firefox install, my registry got corrupted and is a software problem...Vista maybe??

I am posting my BSOD to this thread, hopefully you all can help me out here.

BTW, my PC is a HP m8300f with only upgrade memory and NVidia Quadro FX1500

Here is a link to my PC specs:

HP Pavilion Media Center m8300f PC (GX611AA) specifications - HP Home & Home Office Products

My Computer

This device is disabled. Did you do it deliberately? If so, why?
Cisco Systems VPN Adapter ROOT\NET\0000 This device is disabled.
I'm running the May and June memory dumps (09 May to 01 Jun 2010) separately because there were none in July - August.
Did you do anything to fix these 7 memory dumps? If so, what did you do?

Then I'll run the 12 September memory dumps separately also.

May/Jun memory dumps. Service Pack 1 or 2 not present. I'd consider these not to be significant due to their age and the 2 month period where there were no memory dumps. But, for the sake of completeness, here's the results of the analysis:

So, first off, the errors are all over the place - which usually indicated a hardware issue:

6 different BSOD codes
6 different causes blamed

Please try these free hardware diagnostics:
H/W Diagnostics:
Please start by running these bootable hardware diagnostics:
http://www.carrona.org/memdiag.html (read the details at the link)
http://www.carrona.org/hddiag.html (read the details at the link)

Also, please run one of these free, independent online malware scans to ensure that your current protection hasn't been compromised: http://www.carrona.org/malware.html (read the details at the link)

Also, please remove or update these older drivers that were loaded at the time of the crash. Don't use Windows Update or the Update drivers function of Device Manager.
Please use the following instructions to locate the most currently available drivers to replace the one's that you uninstall OR remove:
How To Find Drivers:
- I have listed links to most of the drivers in the code box below. Please use the links there to see what info I've found about those drivers.
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.

- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

Here's the older drivers (You can look them up here: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html ).

My Computer

Usama,

thanks for looking into this for me. Although your detailed description has helped me see what hw issues I am having with the BSOD. My main thing now is that my PC won't power up.
I get juice to the PC, but about 2-3 seconds later, it shuts off. Now I'm really stuck in a rut. I've tried all the simple troubleshooting first; new power cord, different power socket.
Not sure exactly what the problem is.

Any help here?

I would try another power supply. Purchase it from a store with a decent return policy (in case it's not the problem).
