i'm using a laptop with Vista Home Premium 32Bit.
i'm getting an Event id 10016 error every 10 minutes in the event viewer.
this is the content of the error:

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Launch permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{C97FCC79-E628-407D-AE68-A06AD6D8B4D1}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
SID (S-1-5-18) from address LocalHost (Using LRPC). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

I found a similar disscussion about it in the windows 7 forums:

I also found out that this related to the "IPbusEnum" service, and i just want to know if what i did is correct.
i understand that i need to change the permissions to this Component.
i entered the "dcomcnfg.exe" and found the "IPbusEnum" Component, and then i got into the security properties.
i clicked on "Edit" in the "Launch and Activation Permissions area".
and then i granted permissions to the SYSTEM account by checking all the Allow boxes (Local Launch, Remote Launch, Local Activation, Remote Activation).
After doing this the Error is not showing anymore, but is it safe to do what i did?
