Does it boot into safe mode (F8)?

Do you have a Vista dvd to do a repair?

Listen closely to the beeps. They generally indicate a hardware failure of some kind and the beeps can help identify the cause. Assuming you have AMI BIOS (which Toshiba suggests applies to models similar to yours but I couldn't find those for your specific model - in fact, your model is no longer even listed in product support - BTW it is a Satellite and the closest I could find was A135-S2346 which is probably very close, but isn't good enough to be certain especially since it talks a lot about 64-bit criteria), here is how to interpret the beeps: PC Hell: BIOS Error Beep Codes. Please post back with the beep sequence and the meaning of the beep sequence you are hearing (and be sure to use the AMI BIOS listing).
