Help!! Vista BSOD Immediately After Login

Please Help!

I encountered a BSOD a couple days after Security Center said there was a virus on my PC. I ran a full scan and cleaned the malware and viruses found by the anti-virus software.

Now the computer will crash right after I log in. I can only boot in safe mode, so I am limited in capability to launch certain applications.

The OS (Vista Ultimate x86) is the original and is running with SP2.

I have attached the Dump files, however when I tried to run the System Health Report I recieved an error message stating the the file path could not be found. I'm not sure if this is a result of safe mode.

Any advice would be a HUGE help.

Try booting to safe mode and setup a new user.

Virus sometimes screw up profiles and you could be missing important files that were cleaned by the virus remover.

Pantonb - Thx for the reply. I tried that and when I boot in normal mode the new user (w/admin permission) account does not appear. In fact, it doesn't appear when I log in under safe mode. However the new user folder is present in the system files.

Hmm, sorry then, I'm not very OS inside SMrt..... mORE HARDWARE... damn caps... See can't even type smrt.....
