How do I run multiple dump files through WinDBG?

Hello all!

Occasionally I have dump files to run through WinDBG. Sometimes they are not kernal minidumps, but this doesn't matter. May I ask a quick question of you experts?

How do I run multiple files through WinDBG? I can run a single dump file perfectly file - symbols are set up well, but how do I do a big block? :o

Actually, would you also mind showing me how to do get a driver list, a probably caused by for all of them, and that slimmed down log.

I do one dump at a time. As far as I know each dump file is handled separately by the others, as I do. I will get you a definitive answer. I think that is just a summary of the separate reports, but you will find out shortly.

With drivers, type lmtsmn and you will get the full driver list, that was being used during the BSOD.

Very rarely does the report give you the precise driver. Very rarely canyou solve a BSOD with one report.

So far I have been doing them indiviaually, it just seemed like there should be a way of getting them all started off, and then compiled into a neat report at the end. I don't mind lots of windows, just it would be nice if there was a "Quick Start" button. Thanks so much, it is really appreciated!

I also received a reply from jcgriff2. Thank you so much for setting this all up for me. He also hinted at that it was scripts. I had no idea. I thought that it was just some button in WinDBG that I was missing. I shall report any updates also. I seem to have caused a rather large, forum wide problem! Thank you so much to all!
