The user profile service service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. This is the error i get when i try to start upmy PC. I'm the admin on my PC ant there is no other account. (mistake i guess) i tried to find safe mode with the f8 key but it doesnt come up. If i hit f11 it will go to restore but it wants to wipe it clean to factory settings. Im not great with a PC but if someone breaks it down like im a 2 year old, i got it. LOL

Thanks for taking the time to help me Richard. I finally got into safe mode by doing what you said but i think im over my head in the actual repair part. I got lost at open an elevated command prompt. I know its a pain talking to non tech people but i really need some help here. If anyone is willing to do phone support this would greatly help me.

ok i got to system restore im restoring to a few days ago before yne install of service pac 2. Also i could have sworn i installed service pac2 a while ago but i guess not.

My Computer

Once fixed, install that SP
Be sure to go back at least 3 or 4 days before the problem

Here are my thoughts
I think that you should try the tutorial again; it has never failed, before in this situation.
If that truly does not work, your solution is with safe mode
First System Restore
Then if that does not work, choose another repair option.
If you go back to factory specs, it will be like day one. The day you took it home. You will lose everything, so back up first, per my first post
Im hanging my hat on the tutorial, however.

OK i got it to restore but it keeps turning my Mcafee off. I turn it on and a few seconds later its sending me a warning its off again

My Computer

OK Keep it off, uninstall. Then install Microsoft security Essentials. Essentials was made for windows.
Make a system restore point before doing anything

Most agree that essentials is the best for windows and its free.

Important
If you signed up for Mcafee, you may have agreed to an automatic anuual charge. If you go with Essentials, close the credit card account or notify Mcafee not to charge, in writing.

This is how you make a point
http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/76332-system-restore-point-create.html
I am here tyring to help and the very last thing that I would want is some unforseen problem to make things worse.
Lets use belt and suspenders to make sure this does not happen. Make the point just in case the Mcafee uninstall goes bad.
After uninstall, first thing get Essentials, I do not like you out there without a firewall, Essentials and Malwarebytes
In addition, you do realize that common sense is necessary in the mix
