BSOD problems, need help.

Vista Home Premium 32-bit
Vista x64
OEM
Got the computer on June 20th 2006
OS was installed about a month ago, but i had gotten the same BSOD before we installed 32-bit

I get the BSOD while playing games on my computer, sometimes happens after 2 hours or more and sometimes within 30, ive done a memtest several times and checked the temps of my video card, gpu and cpu while playing the game, any help is appreciated. I can add more info if need be.

Hi again,

Try un-installing the Daemon tools (sptd.sys) as this has caused issues before!

Go again with the install.

Hi

From the above it not exactly clear which Windows system we are actually looking in to "Previous, 32 or 64 bit"?

Any errors that exist in the system prior to upgrade will be transfered during the upgrade/ update.

Therefore: - Please expand on that if you would.

ok, so after about 7 hours of playing perfectly i blue screened again with same error. So i went and downloaded the SPTD thing which actually was an update and then rebooted like it said, so is that all i needed to do to remove it? And also earlier in this thread you mentioned the BSOD minidump had pointed to ntoskrnl.exe and nvlddmkm.sys so what should i do to fix those?

Go to search
type cmd
then with it appears right click
then run as administrator
In cmd type driverquery. Is SPTD gone?
Forget ntoskrnl
That is a Microsoft Kernal Driver, its not the problem.
For the other one go to the website and update. If BSOD returns, post the new dump report. The one that you posted is inconclusive the drivers mentioned are probably not the cause and Ntoskrnl is rarely the cause in any scenario.
