    Laptop Very slow and sound distorted

    Hi all,
    hoping you may be able to help. I have a medion laptop (about 3 years old now) anyhow today upon booting up noticed distorted "windows sound" and all programmes running realy very slow, plus all sounds distorted. Any ideas on whats going on would be most welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Run anti virus scan and download and run malwarebytes
    Try a clean boot

    If none of those work, try a system restore from 3 days before the problem
