Hello!

Sorry for the late reply. I am actually taking a short break until the weekend, but I will try my very hardest to provide you with a rapid response. This error is not particularly easy to fix, but it does have solutions and workarounds. However, you have it in its very worst form. VC++ versioning errors are best, post SP2 Windows components x86-x64 the worst, what you have.

The fixes will be slightly tricky, and I don't have very much time at the moment, so please try step one here: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Try for a day. If those errors don't appear, we have found the one using the other control. Otherwise, it is Windows, and we need to look at other solutions.

Do these applications work? If you start them manually, do you get this error message again, as I think you will?

I will explain more later.

Thanks again!

Richard

this is off topic on the wiever, but I'm having a problem with starting a program.

Hello coolbreeze man does that go back into my childhood, now have you done a sfc scan, it might fix it. Try doing the following...

1. Click start...
2. In the search box type CMD...
3. When the popup list comes up then RIGHT click on the cmd.exe and run it as administrator.
4. When the command box appears the type sfc /scannow notice there is a space between the sfc and the forward slash. After the full scan is done if there are any erros then run the sfc 3 more times as it repairs more each time. Here is a great tutorial done by Brink.
