0x0000000A BSOD error

geospace

Member
I've been recently getting a lot of BSODs on random occasions. Whether it's surfing the internet or playing games it happens out of the blue. Sometimes it also happens when I start up my computer and it gets a BSOD and constantly restarts the computer.

-Home Premium x64
-Original OS Installed
-OEM

-Had hardware for around two years
-Just reformatting and reinstalled recently. Maybe a week or so ago.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 0000000000000000, memory referenced
Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000001, bitfield :
 bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80001c7ee80, address which referenced memory

The reports that you have submitted reveal clues to the cause of your problem. They do not give a definitive answer. The more reports that we receive the more clues are made available improving our chances of finding a solution to your problem. You may have to experience several more BSODs until the final answer is discovered.

If overclocking restore normal settings

SFC /scannow

Update outdated listed drivers. If I have inadvertently listed any Microsoft Drivers, they can be ignored. If the list is extensive I have included the driver verifier test so that you may determine which drivers are in need of immediate attention.

Asacpi.sys is a driver from the Austek Computer Corp. Your driver is very old and is known to cause BSOD's in current Windows versions; it must be updated

How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- The most common drivers are listed on this page: http://www.carrona.org/dvrref.html
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html

I tried that and it gave me like 81 things to choose from. Shown on the picture on one of my earlier posts. Am I suppose to download all of the files?

You did something wrong. If you use navigator, it goes into your computer and decides what you need. Try again, and stay with navigator. Others have done it with no problem.

The thing is it won't work with my web browsers such as firefox and Google Chrome because it won't install for some reason. The picture I showed you was from internet explorer and I keep getting the same results of 81 files.
