Frequent BSODs

I'm on a bit over year-old HP Pavillion dvt7 with Vista Home Premium x64 SP2 full retail. I had been experiencing frequent, similar, crashes and BSODs a couple of months ago and had searched to resolve the problem, but they stopped entirely until now so I had forgotten about them. They have started up again and occur seemingly at random. Occasionally a crash followed by a BSOD will happen while I am watching a movie; the sound stutters and the video freezes, then the computer crashes. The issue has not disabled my computer but is, as you may imagine, a great inconvenience.

Thank you for your time.

You have given me one report. TBH, BSODs can very rarely be solved on the basis of one report. Can you give me all the others that you have had.
In either case, I will try my best to help. Waiting for your reply.

I will tell you, however, that you do have an extremely large number of outdated drivers. Regardless of what the other reports show, one suggestion will be to update.
The cause of this BSOD was given as a driver

I only have the one report. It appears that Windows failed to write them or I have made an egregious mistake. All I have aside from that is the stop codes I wrote down from two other blue screens.

Bug Check 0xF4: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION

The CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION bug check has a value of 0x000000F4. This indicates that a process or thread crucial to system operation has unexpectedly exited or been terminated.
Important Information If You Have Received a STOP Code

If you have received a blue screen error, or stop code, the computer has shut down abruptly to protect itself from data loss. A hardware device, its driver, or related software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows came with your computer, call the manufacturer of your computer.

Run for 8 passes
If passes try a good stick in each slot for 3 passes
If fails do the same for 8 passes.

Based on this one report, may I suggest that you update the drivers and take the memory test. If you experience more BSODs please post

Hi again. I have not had a chance to run memtest, but I updated my drivers. This didn't do the trick as I got another BSOD coming out of sleep mode this morning. I also got a message on the blue screen saying "Physical memory dump failed with status 0x000009c".
